citing sources
NoodleTools is a great one-stop shop for citations, notecards, annotated bibliographies, and more. Set up an account with your school Google credentials (we subscribe to NoodleTools) and you can save your partially completed research/citation work. If you just have one or two citations to create and don't want to bother with logging in, click on the NoodleTools icon at left to reach NoodleTools Express. Again, it can cite APA or Chicago, but the link defaults to MLA.
Students click here to set up your account. Teachers click here to set up your account. |
Click the Scrible logo at left to visit Scrible's website. Creating an account is free and you can highlight and annotate any source on the web (databases, websites, PDFs, etc.). All your notes from ALL your sources go back to your Scrible account to access and organize later. plus, you can create your Works Cited as you go! Scrible works best when you add the Chrome extension and the Docs extension (both of which should be whitelisted at LP!) in addition to having an account.
