PLaque

11/1/2017

Alone in the house, I looked out the window. Everything was blurred. Everything looked so unfamiliar and strange. I was laying on the cold and hard ground. From where I lay I had a clear view of a window. My arms, torso, face, head, and legs were sore. I tried to move but I was unsuccessful. I couldn’t move my arms. I came to realization I was tied down to a vent next to a wall with a window above me. I couldn’t recall anything from the past few hours or days. I don’t even know how long I’ve been here. I struggled and squirmed around. I tried to yell for help. My words came out dry and quiet. “Help! Help!” I waited in the silence then tried again. “Someone please help me! Help!” Nothing. I attempted to twist my hands out of the ropes. There were already rope burn scars around my wrist. My arms grew sore quick. “How long have I been here?” I thought to myself. I tried to stand up. I made my way slowly up next to the window and looked out. The window looked out to an abandoned looking street. My arms were too far from the window for me to open on my own. Then suddenly, I hear creaking. I scrambled to find something to protect myself. The room was bare and empty. The noise got closer. I attempted again at twisting my wrist free. At this point, my wrist were dry, red, and bleeding. My breaths became quick and fast. The door knob of the room started to wiggle then the door was free and open. At the doorway was person in a black plague mask and long, black, rubber like dress. Their stature was one of a man’s. He walked over to me, crouched down, and reached out his gloved hand to my face. “You can't hurt anything else in here,” I felt a cold sting at the side of my neck. I couldn't keep my balance. Everything started spinning and getting blurry. I fell and hit the ground. I struggled for a breathe. I reached out for the man but he back away. Everything went cold, all I heard was: “you can't hurt anything anymore.”
